There are several interesting attractions located near Skipper’s Lodge.

The owners are very proud of the excellent gun dog training facilities that you could enjoy. Although we do not provide actual training to you nor do we allow you to shoot gamebirds as part of our program we welcome you to use our excellent training grounds, use our homing flock of pigeons and release our bobwhite quails from several johnny houses around the property.

The lodge is well setup to host visitors and small groups that want to have a getaway to do their favourite hobby or simply relax.

The main living room area is setup to relax in front of the fire and enjoy a good book.

This room provides a double bed and is on the sun side in the AM.

Our home is a nature lover’s paradise. We are located on 160 acres of field and woods in one of the most beautiful parts of Netley Creek in the Manitoba Interlake area. Our cedar home has an entire “South Wing” set aside for guests to relax and enjoy our facilities. It includes a sitting room with TV and PC with internet access and reading materials to relax and enjoy. Or join us in our beautiful A-Frame living room which overlooks Netley Creek. We offer a spacious and quiet setting to enjoy nature walks, birding, skiing, and other outdoor activities.

We are located 30 minutes north of the Perimeter highway on Highway 7, and five minutes north of Teulon (at NorthWest corner of 99N and 11E). We are minutes away from many of the best Interlake attractions including the Teulon Golf and Country Club (5 minutes), Narcisse Snake Pits (20 minutes), Winnipeg Beach (20 minutes), Oak Hammock March (25 minutes), and Gimli (25 minutes).

We cater to hunting dog enthusiasts who would like to take advantage of our premier training facilities which includes excellent upland cover for flushing and pointing breeds, access to our homing pigeon flock and seasonal access to raised game birds including bobwhite quail, chukars and pheasants.

Additionally we offer several packages to small groups who want to take advantage of our unique seminar facilities and ability to host classes including photography, quilting, willow furniture making, and other activities – which are only limited to your imagination.
